Our story
We don't have an events problem.
We have a connection problem.
Every day, millions of people say the same things. We should catch up more often. We should go away together. We should start walking. But life gets busy. People move away. Confidence disappears. Eventually we stop asking. Then we stop going. Not because we don't want to — because we don't want to go alone.
The problem
Six apps. Still lonely.
I realised I had six different apps on my phone. One for events. One for hiking. One for meeting friends. One for dating. One for networking. One for travel.
Each solved one tiny piece. None solved the whole problem.
Finding something to do isn't difficult. Finding the right people to do it with is.
Sometimes you find the perfect event — but they're not your people. Right event, wrong people. Sometimes you meet amazing people — but they're doing something you don't enjoy. Right people, wrong event. Sometimes you've always wanted to try something — but none of your friends are interested. So you don't go.
The bigger problem
Connection isn't only about friendships.
Sometimes you're new to town. Travelling overseas. Recently separated. Retired. An empty nester. Working remotely. Looking for purpose. Trying to become healthier. Looking for love. Trying to rebuild your confidence. Trying to find your people.
Life changes. But our ways of meeting people haven't changed very much.
Our belief
Life changes because of people.
One conversation becomes a friendship. One friendship becomes an opportunity. One opportunity becomes a career. One introduction becomes a business. One invitation becomes an adventure. One adventure becomes a lifelong memory.
Every meaningful relationship begins the same way. As strangers. Every best friend started as someone you didn't know.
Our mission
Helping people create more of what matters.
More connected to yourself. To others. To your community. To your passions. To your purpose. To the experiences that make life meaningful.
Our philosophy
What's your MO?
MO stands for Modus Operandi — your way of living. Your values. Your priorities. What you say yes to. What lights you up. What you want more of, and less of.
Mine (Jodie's) happens to be Mountains & Ocean — rise and depth — and a modus operandi built on connection, openness, shared experience, fun, learning, culture, travel, nature, animals, wellbeing, movement, mind & body, and belly laughs. That's my MO. Not yours.
Yours is yours to find. It might be Books & Bonfires. Studio & Sea. Kids & Coffee. Kitchen & Kindness. Trails & Tea. Whatever it is — it's the shorthand for how you want to live. (And if you'd like a hand uncovering it, Coach JC can help.)
We believe every person should intentionally choose what they want more often, and what they want less often.

Through Friends™
Every journey inside More Often is powered Through Friends.
Friendships. Dating. Travel. Business. Learning. Adventure. Events. Volunteering. Coaching. Accountability. Wellbeing.
Because every meaningful relationship starts somewhere. We simply help it start more naturally.
The ecosystem
This isn't just about events.
Events are one way people create connection. They're not the destination. Sometimes your more often is learning to surf, or meditating, or mentoring, or simply finding your people.
Our north star
You already know someone before you walk in.
Imagine opening one app. Not to scroll. Not to compare yourself. But to answer one question: What do I want more often today?
A walking buddy. A date. A hiking group. A mentor. A travel companion. A coffee. A volunteer opportunity. Someone patient enough to help you bake sourdough. Someone to simply say — I can help with that.
Meet your people before you meet up.
