Free early access
Privacy, in plain language
More Often is an early beta. This page describes what the app actually does today. It's not a legal contract, and it will change as the product does.
What we store
- Your account: email address and a securely handled password, or your Google sign-in.
- Your profile: first name, suburb/city/country, what you're up for, and anything optional you add (interests, values, life stage, availability, pets, bio, age).
- Private details: kids status, future-kids preference, relationship status and singles preferences (gender, who you're interested in, age range).
- Plans, RSVPs, messages you create or send, connection requests, blocks and reports.
- In-app notifications generated for you (new matching plans, requests, joins).
- Feedback you send, plus the page and device/browser info if you leave that box ticked, and an email only if you choose to add one.
- People who used our earlier sign-up form: those answers are stored too. They're only linked to an account after that account's email is verified.
Who can see what
- Other signed-in members can see your first name, suburb/city, what you're up for, bio, interests, values and activities. Age only if you switch on "show age". People you block, or who block you, can't see you.
- Never shown to other members: your email, password, or exact home address. Kids and relationship status stay private unless you switch on "show". Singles preferences are never shown — they're only used to check two opted-in people fit each other.
- Plans: members who can see a plan see its title, time, approximate area and how many are going. The exact meeting point, the attendee list and the group chat are only visible to the host and people who've joined.
- Direct messages only work after both people accept a connection, and only those two people can read them.
- The More Often team (admin) can see profiles, plans, reports and feedback to run and moderate the beta.
- Visitors who aren't signed in can't see any member profiles or plans.
Matching
Recommendations use simple, explainable rules: shared interests and activities, values, location, availability and life stage. We show you "why this fits". We don't use your private details for friendship matching, and there's no live location tracking.
Contact
We don't email you marketing or send push notifications in this beta. Notifications appear inside the app. We only reply to feedback if you give us an email in the feedback form. We don't buy or scrape personal data from other platforms.
Your choices
- Edit or clear any optional profile field at any time.
- Turn the singles opt-in and in-app notifications on or off.
- Block or report anyone. Leave or cancel plans.
- Want your account deleted? Use the "Give feedback" button and ask — include an email so we can confirm.
